Skate Technique Clinic

We had another skate clinic for 5 skiers here in Canmore last Saturday. The conditions were as always - excellent at the nordic centre. During the morning session we focused first on getting video of the skiers in all different techniques as well as providing some guidance on what to think about for each technique. Classic Technique Clinic

Over the week-end Jon Arne had a group of skiers out at Moraine Lake Road for a Classic Technique and Video Session this past Saturday. The forecast was for frigid conditions. Moraine Lake Road

GP Jim Horner CX / Red Cross – Edmonton

 We had a special thanksgiving week-end in Edmonton. The venue was at Argyll Park and the weather was surprisingly amazing. Temperatures almost reached 20 degrees celcius and the sky was clear and blue.  The conditions have been very pleasant for races all season, we haven’t encounter rain or snow and have been able to run on grass tires all season. Dark Knight/Cross for Kids – Canada Olympic Park

The cyclocross community moved to COP this past weekend. On Saturday evening the annual Dark Knight Cross was held on a challenging course. Riding a course in daylight is pretty straight forward but it’s not always that easy in the dark.
